A Joy Filled Friend

I wouldn't say there's anything particularly extraordinary about me, but I will say that I believe God has filled me with a spirit full of joy. Interestingly enough, this is something I used to feel a bit self-conscious about. Being a silly, light-hearted gal—in my head—meant that I was immature and would never be taken seriously. But as I've grown into adulthood, I've come to embrace that this is exactly what makes me who I am. In fact, I'm sure most people who know me would say that my goofiness is one of the qualities that make spending time with me such a HOOT.

I am now so thankful for the joy I have, and I hope to share it with as many of you as possible. I truly believe life would be so dull without the giggling children who are probably up to no good, couples running through the rain hand-in-hand, and grandmas and grandpas who still kiss each other every morning and night. These sweet, tender, and sometimes even mundane moments are what I strive to preserve for as long as I can, capturing the beauty and warmth that make life worth living.
